Howea forsteriana, commonly know as the Kentia Palm, is the perfect indoor palm. It's graceful shape and ability to tolerate low light and dry conditions makes it an excellent statement piece in any home.
Care Tips
Light: Prefers indirect bright light, but will tolerate some shade. Prolonged exposure to direct sun may scorch the leaves.
Water: Weekly watering but allow the top of the soil to dry out between waterings. Do not over water.
Feed: General liquid feed can be applied every month during the growing season.
Top Tip
Clean leaves with a damp cloth to prevent build up of dust. Brown tips can be trimmed if required.
These palms resent root disturbance, so should only be repotted when absolutely necessary.
