Nectaroscordum siculum Bulbs – Pack of 8
Create impact in early summer with Nectaroscordum siculum, a striking ornamental bulb ideal for borders and naturalistic planting schemes.
Also known as Sicilian honey garlic, Nectaroscordum siculum is a unique member of the allium family. It produces large, pendulous umbels of bell-shaped flowers, each one flushed with soft pink or purplish-red tones and accented by green bases. These elegant blooms appear in early summer, typically during June and July, and are a favourite among bumblebees and other pollinators.
With tall stems reaching up to 60cm, this architectural bulb adds height and visual interest to mixed borders, gravel gardens, and wildflower-style plantings. Once flowering is complete, the seed heads remain decorative and are excellent for drying. They make a long-lasting addition to dried flower arrangements or can be left standing to enhance late-season garden structure.
